'How come?' he asked. He wasn't scared by the forest at all. He found all parts of the forest just fine. He had no idea why anyone was scared.

"I-I will." she promised, luckily Shay only thought it was an illness. Duel hadn't told the healers what happened earlier. A guy came over to see how the squirrel was doing, she didn't know who he was and asked him to leave. He got all mad and forced her down, she didn't know what he was going to do and then Duel showed up and kicked his ass. He told the guy to get out and he ran with his tail between his legs. Duel had promised to make sure he didn't come back, he hadn't told anyone about the encounter just yet. She had been thinking about what that guy could have done to her if Duel hadn't been there to help. It made her scared and she silently cried, that was why her voice was sore. She also found some ribbons to put on her wrists because the guy kind of bruised her there, she didn't want to explain just yet.

Celeste shrugged, a little quiet now-- er, well, quiet as in still, because she talked with her hands. The marten then signed, 'Laura and I had a tough time living before we found the Devas. It was scary.'

Shay didn't ask her about anything, and didn't really pay her much attention, either. He went to get her some water and a little bit of food, since it was nearing dinnertime and she needed to eat. He brought the tray into her room and sat it down on her lap, "Here... Eat and drink something, then rest."
