Chase heaved a sigh, leaning his face into his hands. After a minute, he lifted his head again and called, "Just come in, if you wanna talk... this could take me a little while..." He was aware that he wasn't really dressed, but maybe if she saw him somewhat vulnerable with all of his wounds visible, she wouldn't be so scared. Maybe a little bitter, but oh well. If it was that important for Pippa to explain, she'd come in and do it... if she couldn't, then... maybe their relationship wouldn't work out. He couldn't deal with her being like that.

"O-ok." Pippa said and came in, her face was a bit red since he was in his boxers. "Y-you see, I heard from a friend of mine that when you came over to attack Matt and Sven that you were pretty mad. Not that I mind you being protective of me that is, but she also told me that Sven died from someone who was angry and she knew it was a man that killed him....so I thought that you got so angry that you....that's why I got kind of scared, my ex used to be very angry and extremely over protective of me. I-I know that there wasn't any proof of you doing it, but it makes a lot of sense....I'm sorry that I hurt your feelings." Pippa said and then some more tears rolled down her face as she couldn't help but think that she was just a horrible person for thinking that Chase would do that, but it made a lot of sense. It was clear that she was afraid because of lack of information and it wasn't really either of their faults.
