EJ slept rather peacefully while snuggled against Flare, able to get some more rest as they napped together. Still, he couldn't be left alone for more than a few hours at a time; doctors eventually crept in to check up on him. The feline had yet to eat or drink anything after the incident, surviving solely off of his IVs, but it was difficult to eat when he was wearing an oxygen mask and couldn't sit up without falling over. So, they had to try to get him to start breathing by himself, first...


Quiet, trying not to wake either of the cats, Marie checked all of the monitors. She would have to come up with a plan to get EJ back to health... and hope there really wasn't anything wrong with him after literally being poisoned.
