Rachel smiled a little back-- the small smile went to her eyes, which made it even more genuine. She wasn't sure how much singing she could really do before her throat absolutely downright refused, so she sang the next verse, even though it sounded a little uncertain.

"I take it in but don’t look down..."

(*flails* Rachellll!)

Gently caressing the side of her face, EJ leaned closer to her and sang in a softer voice that implied his words weren't just repeated from the song, but directed at her, "'Cause I'm on top of the world..." Then, unable to help it even though Rachel was sick at the moment, he leaned in even closer to give her a little kiss, messing up their duet but showing her his love nonetheless.

Rachel hadn't expected the kiss, especially since she was sick, so her already feverish face got a lot redder. However, it made her feel his love for her all over again, and it made her feel so much better. When they parted, Rachel looked a bit sheepish, "E-eet's good you 'ave a strongair immune system zan me..."

(Yeah.... I guess you have a point, Blueh. ^^' It is kinda late.)

Meanwhile, at the Saunders' place... Chase was just sort of sitting around, looking a little depressed. He hated being badly hurt, not only because it sucked, but because it meant he had to stay at home and heal instead of doing something useful for worthwhile. The Shiba Inu heaved a sigh, laying on the couch in just a pair of old sweatpants. He was tempted to pick at his bandages, but he didn't want to make himself bleed again by accident... it always made Pippa freak out a little.

EJ smiled a bit, looking just as sheepish as she did. "Yeah... even if I didn't, though, I dunno if I would have been able to stop myself there..." He leaned his head against hers, purring.

"Are you ok Chase? Is something bugging you? Did you pick at your bandages again?" she asked and sat down next to him. She always made sure to be really careful with him. She didn't want to accidently hurt him. She kept making sure that he was ok, he fussed over her when she was hurt. Now it was time to return the favor. She was wearing her dark green tank top and jean shorts with hears on them. She wanted to make sure everything was perfect for him. She liked it that he was home more, but she hated that it was because he was injured.

(I remembered I have errands tomorrow morning, so I'm going to go to bed now. I'll reply in the morning! Goodnight. <3)

(Oh my God... Probably one of my favourite parts of Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, is when Mario and Luigi fake sickness to go see Dr. Toadly together. Gawd... Luigi's face... XDDD)

(It's okay. ^^' Mario faked a sore throat, and Luigi faked very exaggerated chest pains. But it worked. And then there was a Bowser fight I totally forgot about... o7o'

(Gah... I felt suddenly really sick this morning. Dunno what my problem is. eme" ... But I finished Chapter 3 last night! o7o!)

(Yeah... I just got this hot flash and felt sick to my stomach. My mom had me lie down for a while, and I'm feeling a little better now.

But YESSS! It might be edited a little later on, but for now I shall continue forth with chapter four.)

(Sometimes when I get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, I sometimes feel sick... o7o' It's probably just me being dehydrated. But it's good you're feeling better.
