Scotty nodded, replying, "Yes... a few, but nothing like your strength. Lettle things..." He then paused before adding in a somewhat depressed tone, "The worst part es that I'm just as afraid of finding them as I am of never knowing what happened to them... You see, my famely... they... they wouldn't approve of me being weth you, lad." He looked up at Stone, his ears flopping, "They would hate me for being weth you." It was one of his biggest insecurities. What if he found his family, only to be disowned for being in a gay relationship? His father and most of his siblings would probably be enraged, with how traditional they behaved. It wasn't fair... he missed them but at the same time wanted them to stay away so he could avoid more hurt in the long run.

"Of course." EJ sat next to her, his fur still messy and floofy since he had just woken up not very long ago. Spending the night with Anna and Richard had been awkward, but he had certainly slept better. The cat yawned, poofed out like a sleepy baby bird.

"...what?" Stone looked like he was just punched right in the gut, and winded. His triangular ears were pressed down onto his ginger hair as he just stared at his boyfriend-- he had no idea what to say. "..." The story wasn't something Stone hadn't heard before, but it hurt a lot more because he truly cared for him. Especially since he had told him beforehand, rather than him meeting the sheep's family and finding out firsthand, "...I'm sorry."

"Zank you..." Rachel leaned against EJ, and nibbled at her toast quietly, not feeling overly hungry. The bat couldn't help herself as EJ yawned, and reached over to brush some of his fluff out of his face.

Scotty sighed, feeling bad for having to break that to him, but then said, "I'm not." He reached over to smooth the fur on the side of Stone's face. "I'm not sorry for being weth you, and ef my famely es found, I well not tell them I'm sorry when I'm not."

EJ purred a little when Rachel petted back his fluff, glad she was returning to normal; when she was sick she just sort of laid there miserably, but now she was well enough to fuss over his hair again. It was nice to see.

Stone looked somewhat surprised when Scotty said that, especially since it sounded like he absolutely meant it. "Y-you aren't...?" It would make Stone feel awful if Scotty's family hated him for something that he did not choose, especially since the hybrid had technically helped the sheep find his sexuality.

Rachel gave a little purr in response to EJ's, and gave a little smile. "I would keess you right now, buht I don't exactly wahnt to spread my germs..." The bat settled with gently caressing the cat's fluffy face, even though it wasn't really the same.

"No, I'm not..." Scotty reached out to pull Stone close again, giving the hybrid a squeeze. "I don't feel sorry for loving you, Benjy. Maybe I am upset that my famely well not approve, but I am not sorry... Right now, you're all the famely I have..."

Stone honestly didn't know what to say to that again, but his actions spoke much more loudly than the words he could barely form. The hybrid hugged the sheep tightly when he brought him close, and pressed his face against the side of his neck. Aurora, I have no idea what to think of his family, but maybe not all of them are like that... I still hope that they're okay.
