I'm still unsure of where they're actually from, but they're from a French speaking county that's probably not France... It also kind of depends on how you look at this world, and if it's just a Sonic version of our world or not.)

I might never understand French accents ever XD I can understand Scottish accents just fine though. I can't give my characters accents since 1 I can't type them out and 2 I might not understand what I even said XD)

Yeah, they are kind of hard to write and understand. However, it makes sense in my head because I know most of the pronunciation rules in French, and I can add it to the English language to make it as authentic as possible. And, there are some sounds thay exist in the French language and not English, and vice versa.)

I can only do that with Scottish accents, my old Spanish teacher had a Spanish accent and I never understood a single word she said not even when she was calling my name XD

"Are you sure you're ready to get back to work?" Ruth asked Quinn, looking up at the hedgehog as the two prepared the room where they would remove a young man's awful prosthetic hand. The mouse wasn't sure if her friend was ready to get back to the difficult, sometimes heartache-inducing work of a healer.

Quinn smiled a little, "Of course I am... I know there are few healers as it is. I can't hold off working any longer. When is our patient going to arrive?"

"Soon," Ruth replied, sounding a little nervous, "I've never removed a prosthetic before..."

"That's why EJ is going to be in here with us..." Quinn sighed; she was unsure about that part, for sure, but only EJ knew how the prosthetic functioned, inside and out. His advice would be needed if they were going to remove the robotic hand without harming Nick.

Meanwhile, as opposed to the serious and somewhat frightening thing that was going to go down in the infirmary... Scotty was just being Scotty. The sheep was trimming his hooves-- similarly to how most people trimmed their nails or claws, he had to keep after his hooves, or they would grow out in a painful way. He also had to be careful not to cut any blood vessels, or else he'd bleed and it would hurt like hell. He was sitting on his bed, holding his foot over a trash can as he carefully trimmed off some of the overgrown hoof.

Of course, Scotty was a relatively clumsy individual, and his hand slipped-- he cut off a small chunk of hoof that really wasn't supposed to come off, and instantly it started to bleed. Startled, he dropped his hoof clipper and bleated, "Baaaah!" He kept his foot over the little trash can, not wanting to get blood everywhere, and in his panic to cover it with something he pulled off his plaid shirt and wrapped it around his foot, tying it in place with the sleeves. Then he rose to his feet and hobbled out of his room, looking for Stone because he needed some help-- shirtless and wide-eyed, he emerged into the living room, "Benjy? Lad, are you here? Mbbaahh..."

Nick was definitely not looking forward to this day, but he was at the same time. It was something he had dreamed about for a long time, and it was one if the reasons why he left home because no one could fix it.... But now it was very, very real, and it terrified him, because he never had surgery before, besides getting this blasted thing put on in the first place. He knew he should probably get to the infirmary right now, but he was terrified.... He felt like his heart would give out any second. And it didn't help he really didn't have anyone to be with him... The fox just busied himself with attempting to put on a shirt, but it was difficult because he couldn't really get it over his head without ripping it. Come on Nick, you can do this! You've waited long enough! Pull yourself together!

Stone was reading in the living room and catching up on his book, as he hadn't really read in a while because of the stressful and time consuming move. However, things were dying down now-- well, mostly. The hybrid's ear twitched when he heard some movement coming from Scotty's room, and looked up for a second, before just going back to his book.... However, it wasn't long before the hybrid looked past his book and saw the sheep hobbling about with his plaid shirt tied around his foot, "Scotty...?" However, probably the next thing he noticed was that the sheep was indeed without a shirt, and Stone couldn't help but blush as he tried to quickly mark his page, ultimately embarrassed, even though Scotty looked like he saw a ghost.

Malt had been helping the healers a little bit and decided to get Nick since, they were basically ready. She knocked on his door to tell him they were ready. She was also deciding on whether or not she would need to have a bit of surgery herself. Her tail flicked back and forth a little bit as she waited for him to answer.

Nick jumped almost about a foot into the air when he heard a knock on the door, as he was already jittery as it was. His white fur was fluffed out, his eyes wide, before he forced himself to calm down and take it. Smoothing his shirt, and scowling a little when he ripped the side, he then sighed, before just going over to the door and opening it, "Um, Malt....? I'm....I'm coming." His voice betrayed some of his unease and terror, even though he tried to ignore it.
