Shay was passed out, though he occasionally let out an irritable mumble, unable to get into a deep enough sleep to stop thinking about his healer duties. He was unaware that he was in a somewhat funny situation at the moment, instead grumbling about something involving aspirin.

The Saunders siblings led their two young companions to their apartment and tried to make them feel at home on the couch. Chase was tired and hurt, so he sat with them, hoping he could help them relax... EJ just seemed miserably upset, while Rachel was tense and clearly worried about everyone. "Relax, you two... We'll work things out the best we can, given our situation... It'll be alright."

"Uh, Phillip? You live here, too. We don't have to knock," Shiloh pointed out, not even sure if the cheetahs were home. Maude had been helping with setting up the official school and orphanage a lot lately.

Alpha looked a little uncomfortable, but said nothing. He looked away, and tried not to pay Shay much attention, but it was kind of hard to ignore the fact that he was sleeping on his arm. The bluejay started to feel (or not feel) the fact that it was going numb. Great... 

(I have a headcannon that Alpha is pansexual.)

Rachel sat down with EJ and Chase, and promptly wedged herself between the both of them. She tried to push her worries out of her mind. Tina can take over for EJ, can't she? He's teaching her how to make prosthetics, isn't she....? It wasn't really working, but that thought made her feel a little better as she just curled up against Chase.

Phillip promptly smacked his forehead, which wasn't exactly a good idea. Ow. "Shit, I forgot...." The fact that he hadn't lived there for a week kind of screwed with him. The otter, looking sheepish, opened the door, and ushered Shiloh inside, "There we go...,"

"Alpha can you hold the baby while I move Shay or do you think I shouldn't disturb him?" she whispered. She felt a bit awkward and she wanted to do something, but she couldn't decide what to do.

(Sandi: >~<')

"I have no idea. I would prefer him not making my arm numb, but I don't want him to blow, either." Alpha replied, them sighed, which hurt, "Just leave him... At least for a while. I can deal with it."

"O-ok." she squirrel said, she almost couldn't help but feel a little bit jealous. She tried to shake off the feeling, but after a while she just ignored it all together. She didn't want to leave the baby to go and get a healer, she'd most likely be sent back to her room.

(*picturing Cody as a janitor* Hehehehehe.

Cody: *sighs* It could be worse...

Jonah: Its more than you deserve, asshole

Cody: *doesnt care* *goes to clean shit up*)

Cody nodded, "Thank you Ms Shaw."

He headed straight to the infirmary hoping the techs could fix him up with a new leg...and possible a new uniform if Shaw wanted him sweeping floors and the like.

(*looks up the meaning of pansexual* Yeah, that probably describes Shay better. o3o He's not so much physically attracted to people as he is to their personalities... if they don't annoy him, that's a good start. XD

Though the exhausted bat would have preferred not to be near anyone while he napped, he seemed to be a subject of jealousy as he sat there and made poor Alpha's arm numb. He grumbled and curled up a bit, wrapping his wings around himself the best he could, as though trying to hide while he rested.

Meanwhile, the baby started to look upset, making intentional little coughing noises as though threatening to cry.

EJ seemed to have dozed off on Rachel's shoulder after a little while, apparently his system having had enough drama and insisting he needed a break. Chase just leaned back against the couch and quietly relaxed, petting Rachel's head and not saying anything... He'd talk to her if she wanted to, but otherwise he'd let her take some time to hear her own thoughts.

Shiloh almost bumped into the doorway when Phillip tried to help her inside, but managed to get in without making a complete idiot out of herself. Then she stood there, wondering if she remembered the dimensions of her own home well enough to navigate... Maybe I should just let Phillip help... As much as her pride hated it, she was pretty helpless at the moment.

(My RP friends that I know in real life woke me up at 6:00 this morning.... *facedesks* I was GOING to self RP with Anna, Richard, and Roy, but apparently not. 

But yes, I think that would fit better for Shay. I would love to see a drawing of him. ^^"

(I think Alpha is currently the only avian in the entire RP... XD It seems that avians, insects, and reptiles are kind of rare, while most people are mammals. Sven was the only reptile.
