Oh mai... This is new...

Cody entered the room a moment later...still bleeding from some of his wounds and having to use his sword as a crutch to get around.

"Ms Shaw..." he asked ready for the worst.

Phillip pursed his lips, before replying, "I wasn't lying when I told you I took a punch from Sven... But my nose isn't broken. It was more like a slap than anything.... But it still hurts like a bitch." His head did, too, "But other than that, I'm peachy."

Rachel took a tissue and blew her nose with it after Chase let her go, "G-God...." She managed to speak, but it was nothing more than a whisper. "S-someone remind m-me to p-punch 'im een ze f-face for scareeng u-us...." 

Richard nodded in response to Chase, before wrapping an arm around his wife's shoulders and leading her out. He didn't know if her silence and lack of crying as a good thing, and just tried to reassure her as they shuffled together. Aurora.... Did this really had to happen....? He already lost his wing... And I was there.... Richard suppressed a shiver just at the thought, even though he wasn't exactly conscious at that time.

(Alpha: I apologize.) 

Alpha jumped a little when the bottle fell to the floor, and pulled a face. If I can only get up and walk... The bluejay looked over to Sandi and said, "Do you think you can get another healer in here to take the baby from Shay? And maybe get that runaway bottle, too...."

Sandi gave a little smile back at the baby and picked up the bottle to put it on her small table on the side. She was a bit worried when the baby squirmed  around so she got up and went over to Shay without making a sound. Then slowly and carefully took the child from Shay, she was worried that the baby would fall if she kept squirming. She didn't listen to what Alpha had said, she usually took matters into her own hands.

(btw Blueh I made a random kid character and I was wondering if you'd like to have her. I just randomly made her and I kind of don't want her. Chirpy if you like her you can have her too. I'm posting her on the art page.)

"Or not...." Alpha muttered as the bluejay watched Sandi get up and deal to it herself. At least Shay's getting some sleep.... And he's not grouchy for once....

Julianne turned to face her cyborg minion, at first just smiling at him... but it was not a sweet smile, nor a concerned one, or even a completely evil one. It was like she was seeing a sort-of bad acquaintance show up to her house to ask for a favor, and she was about to either do it for him or bite his throat out. The chinchilla stopped her pacing, gazing over at Cody with an unreadable expression. Her robotic eye glowed softly against her scarred face, the faint light glinting off her teeth as she smiled and then spoke, "So, we both know that all of your latest missions have gone terribly, due to your idiocy and incompetence."

(The baby is officially dubbed a sugar glider named Bianca Alanna and is on the character list. owo She, like the bats and birds in the roleplay, has separate arm and wing appendages, though her wings are distinctly fuzzier than ordinary bat wings. XD)

Shay kept sleeping, slumping to the side once Sandi took the baby. He was slung over the chair in what seemed like an uncomfortable position, but he kept sleeping... he was too tired to care. One of his wings extended to curl around him like a blanket, a habit he had when sleeping.

The baby smiled and gave a little gaspy noise of excitement when Sandi picked her up. She was now wearing a little sticker on her blanket that said in Shay's handwriting, "My name is Bianca Alanna, not The Baby. OK." Little Bianca swiveled her head, trying to focus on first Alpha and then Sandi, since they kept either talking or otherwise interacting, and it was all very interesting.

Chase smiled a bit, hoping Rachel would manage to calm down before long. He helped her and EJ to their feet, wincing a little because he was still injured, after all. "Let's head to my place... I'll make us all some dinner, I guess." Either that or Sasha and Pippa would do the cooking while he just cuddled the kids on the couch. That was probably a better idea, because he was not a good cook.

Shiloh believed him when he said that, for the most part. "Alright... Just take it easy, okay? I know I'm the blind one here, but I can still worry about you." She held onto him as she walked, briefly wondering what that obnoxious Jonah guy would say if he saw her in a pitiful state like this. Jeez, he overreacts enough already... I swear, I'm gonna slug him the next time he starts pulling the "Please forgive me I didn't know you were dating Phil" shit.


(A little insight into her feelings about him. XD She finds him annoying as shit.)

Sandi went to sit on the edge of the bed again and gently started to rock the baby. Aw, Shay still kept the little nickname I gave. Alanna, she thought. She hoped that Shay wouldn't get mad that she took the baby from him, she also just remember now that the baby was fed she needed to be burped so she put the baby into the burping position and started to pat her back.

"Y-yes..."

How could he defend himself? He'd been too cocky to overconfident. He hadnt even managed to finish off Jonah first because of Grey and the second time because of Zero. Now thanks to Jonah and his brother he hadnt even been able to kill Roy! He really was a failure.

"It would not at all shock me if you had me killed here and now, Ive brought shame to our cause. Do with me as you see fit."

(It's okay. ^^' That conversation's gonna end well.... 

Richard: ... 

Sorry. ^^' You're the only one that can really talk to her right now.

"I hope you're good with babies, because I'm not." Alpha admitted, "And I can't exactly do a lot at the moment..." He tried to shift more upright, but he didn't really get that far before the pain made him stop.

Rachel was pulled to her feet, but promptly held onto Chase tightly. He was the closest thing she had to a family member at the moment. She only nodded a little, not exactly crying anymore, but still not fully calm, "O-okay...."

"I know, I know.... I will. Maude won't let me do shit... Or Tina. Or Greyson. So I'm covered." Phillip replied as he walked her down the hallway to her room she shared with Maude and her son, "I'm not looking forward to seeing Greyson and Tina. They're gonna kill me."

(Jonah: Oh Im over that Shiloh.

Howd she go blind again I mustve missed that.)

(Sven spat venom in her eyes.)

"Lucky for you I am." Sandi whispered to the bird.

(Oh...well at least thats only temporary...I think. If Sven was a Cottonmouth or a diamond back then...sorry Shiloh you might be permenantely blind...AND YOU HAD SUCH PRETTY EYES *stomps on Sven's grave* YOU SLITHERING SLIMY REPTILIAN SON OF A BITCH! IF I COULD REVIVE YOU I WOULD JUST SO I COULD KILL YOU MYSELF!!!!

Julianne frowned. Submission was fun with people she planned on letting live, but with someone she was really angry at, she wanted to see them beg for their lives before she killed them. Annoyed now, the chinchilla sighed and shook her head. "You know, you're still a useful chunk of metal... you've got arms and legs, just no brain. You'll be working here with the janitorial crew for a while, until I decide what to do with you. Go get yourself cleaned up now... you're dripping blood on my floor."

Shay: What? Chirp, what are you thinking, dammit?!

Oh, nothing... just you being a half-asleep bat looking for a bed... and happening to lay in one that is already occupied... for the lols... XD)

The baby promptly burped after a moment of having her back patted. She then burbled and rubbed her face against Sandi, comfortable enough with the squirrel to not fuss after she was taken from Shay. Honestly, though the bat would never admit it, his little infant friend was starting to associate the 'Mama' instinct with him. She would need to be adopted out soon, or other healers would just have to step up, so she didn't bond too closely with him. Unless he himself would become her foster parent at barely eighteen years of age, which people strongly doubted.

Chase wrapped his arms tightly around Rachel and gave her a kiss on top of her head, wishing he could have protected them from this... I won't fail them next time. The canine pushed away his darker thoughts and instead focused on the kids standing here with tears in their eyes. "Alright, take a moment to breathe, it's okay..."

Sasha was petting EJ's head, and the cat wasn't pulling away, which seemed to please her. She was always afraid of people fearing or hating her, but it seemed that this lot was starting to slowly accept her.

"Well, Tina will kill you... Grey will probably make girly noises and cry, then hug you half to death. He's kind of a girl in that way..." Shiloh chuckled a little as she rubbed Phillip's arm a little. She genuinely liked Greyson, but he could be more of a girl than his girlfriend.

(I only remember Chase being with her when her head was hurting and she stayed in bed at the infirmary.)

Sandi was trying to make the baby as comfortable as possible with the baby. She kissed the top her head to make the baby happy and content.

(Sandi: Um.....O_O')

(The new child boy I'm making is so hard to draw xnx I made him have a weird design. He's a hybrid too.)

Alpha: ...You've got to be joking.

Alpha continued to watch Bianca with Sandi, while still quiet. He wasn't really the one for conversation, so him being quiet for long periods of time wasn't torture for him.

(Roy: Chase.... I'm sorry. You 'ave my permission to punch me when I'm awake.)

Rachel let out a shaky breath, and ran a hand through her hair, "I'm good.... I-I'm okay...." She was calmer now, and managed to speak regularly somewhat. "W-we can go now..." She didn't want to see her mother upset... Or her father. She had only seen him cry maybe once that she could remember, and that was something she didn't want to remember, either.

"Okay, that sounds more accurate.... Maude'll kill me, too.... I'll be deader than dead...." He smiled a little, not that Shiloh could see that. She could probably hear it in his voice, though.

(There are posts saying she went with him... but whatever, I guess. She wasn't badly hurt, so the infirmary would make her go home. A headache doesn't warrant taking up the healers' attention when there are people who got shot or had limbs chopped off.)

While Sandi kept the baby happy, Shay... well, he was clearly unhappy. The bat shifted around in his sleep, apparently not having a peaceful nap at all, until he jolted upright and complained in a half-awake voice, "Y-you're gonna kill him, idots..." His voice dropped to an unintelligible mumble, then rose again as he rose to his feet and stumbled a few steps forward, practically sleepwalking. "Gotta... seal the wound... first..." Then he half-fell and half-sat on Alpha's bed before flopping over next to the bird and going back to sleep.

Bianca looked over when she heard Shay's voice, and seemed somewhat entertained by what happened, since she giggled a little.

(Chase: I'm not gonna hit you! D8< I'm gonna have a girl moment like Grey, then forbid you to march out onto battlefields anymore!)

The canine took hold of Rachel's chin with one hand, having her look at him for a moment as he said, "Yes, you are okay. I've got you." He then let go of her, though he kept one thick arm around her in a comforting gesture, while his sister handed EJ tissues while the little guy tried to regain his own composure. Sasha seemed to be amazed at how much one teenage boy could cry, and eventually decided they should just go, since he couldn't seem to stop sniffling.

Shiloh gave a hum of amusement, then reminded him more seriously, "They'll all just be glad to see us alright... They can't really be too mad."

Sandi was now just sitting in shock as the bat cuddled the bird. Her mouth was open too, she never imagined Shay doing that. "U-uh..." she whispered. She had no idea what to do, she couldn't move Alpha and Shay would get pissed if he was disturbed.

(Shay: I am not cuddling him! Just asleep next to him because I'm overworked and exhausted! *extra grouchy*

You're gonna have to choose either Sandi or Alpha... I'm shipping you with both more and more as time goes on... XD)

(Sandi: ^^''

Ok I just finished making y other kid character, Terrence or "Terry" and he is SO HARD TO DRAW!)

Alpha looked super confused when Shay started to shift around... Before looking outright embarrassed when the bat just flopped over on the bed right next to him like that. He couldn't really move, so he was stuck just lying there with Shay just a few inches from him, "....We are not talking about this outside this room, you got me?"

Rachel nodded a bit, seemingly trying to convince herself. The bat then just leaned against Chase while the two canines lead EJ and Rachel out of the Brodeur household. Rachel let out a breath once they were outside in the hallway, before something hit her... Oh God... EJ.... The sudden questions of who's going to build Roy's prosthetic popped into her mind, and she tried to ignore it.

"Okay, case in point.... Well, we're just gonna have to see." Phillip replied as he stopped in front of a door, "We're here now." The otter then raised a hand and knocked.

(Oh, uh... Do you mind not naming him Terry? That's the name of my uncle who recently passed away, and I've not quite healed after that. omo' Sorry...)

"I won't say a word." she said kind of stiffly. She felt so torn with moving him and not moving him at the same time.
