Aaron would have retorted, his eyes narrowing, but he let himself go moodily silent. Well, there went his somewhat decent mood today, thanks to Stone and Scotty. Stone was still giving him a somewhat dirty look, but they weren't saying anything, even though the tension was building between the two men. Making up his mind, Aaron just walked passed Stone, now needing to get out because keeping himself inside really wouldn't help him. He needed to calm himself down. 

"Where are you going? Did I hurt your feelings?" Stone crossed his arms over his chest, his voice dripping with sarcasm as Aaron turned to glance at him, but the panther was full out ignoring him now as he just left. It was probably a good idea he left, though. The hybrid sighed and rubbed at his face, before pushing his ginger hair from his face. That went better than expected.... 

"Alright," Greyson settled down, pulling his legs up onto the couch as he got comfortable. The pangolin lazily cuddled up to Tina, resting his head against her. She was warm and furry, perfect for cuddling... Of course, Bebe didn't want to be left out, and fluttered over to sit on them, "Cha!"

Not sure what to think of the argument, Scotty nervously fiddled with a curl of his wool, then poked his head out of his room again, "Es everything alright, lad...? I don't want you and your friend to fight because of me." He moved in for Stone's sake, and hoped it would actually make things better, not worse.

While Aaron was having a roommate crisis, Nani was busy keeping after her duties as a healer. She had already checked on her patients, so she was now simply making beds, taking clean sheets and carefully smoothing them over the narrow mattresses.

Lying next to Greyson, the otter rested her head against his chest, and felt every rise and fall from his breathing, and the constant, repetative beating of his heart. It was resassuring, and Tina closed her eyes for a second, her smaller, dantier hands entertwined with one of Greyson's. However, she looked up when she heard Bebe and when the Chao sat on them, wanting the cuddles. Smiling a little, Tina reached up with her free hand to gently pet the Chao's head, as she really couldn't help it.

"To be honest, he's not really my friend. And it's okay... he's always in a bad mood like that." Stone replied when he turned to look at Scotty. Maybe this was a bad idea.... but I can't really redo it now... "He can moveout if he doesn't like it. I honestly don't really care." The hybrid brushed some of his ginger hair from his face, looking a little frazzled, but he was starting to calm down now.

Aaron let out a sigh once the door closed behind him. He didn't really know why he was so worked up now... He really didn't care about Scotty, but he just beeded some time to think about this and just to himself. He took one glance around the hallway, before setting off to walk... The panther's hands were in his pockets as he didn't really make eye contact with anyone. He wasn't too sure where his feet were taking him, but as long as he was moving, he was alright with that... However, he slowly started to realize he was approaching the medical area of the Safekeep... Naomi...

(Laura: To put it simply... you got mad, and they tranquilized you. ono' And your sister seems to be in trouble...

EJ: *purring and playing with Rachel's hair* Rachelllll... <33333)

Leaning against Tina's hand, Bebe happily murmured, "Cha chao..." A heart appeared over her head as she cuddled against the two people she loved most, while Greyson chuckled and scratched behind one of the Chao's bunny ears. They were a mismatched, albeit happy little family.

Feeling content, Greyson tiredly nuzzled his face against Tina, not having a problem with taking a nap.

Scotty stepped out of his room, not quite sure what to think of Stone and Aaron's relationship... they seemed to be a little hard on one another, unnecessarily so. He put a hand on Stone's shoulder, smiling a bit, "Et'll be alright, Benjy... We'll find a way for everyone to be happy weth their homes. Maybe he would be happier somewhere else, who knows?"

Nani smoothed some blankets over the newly made beds, then stepped back to admire her handiwork. She noticed some withering flowers in a vase, and went to pluck them out, knowing that some children would come along with fresh ones sometime that afternoon-- the little ones dutifully picked flowers for the infirmary, even back in the old camp. She hummed a little tune to herself as she dumped the dead flowers in a waste basket, then smoothed the skirt of her dress, brushing off some crumpled petals that had fallen on her.

(Roy: ....*looks past Laura to Rachel and EJ* ...Okay. who gave 'im catneep again...?

Smiling a little when Bebe's bulb turned into a heart over her head as the Chao leaned against her hand, Tina watched her for a second, before turning back to Greyson. She accepted the tired nuzzle, her face going a little red, before saying, "Are you tired..? It's kind of late for a nap.... you'll be up early tomorrow."

Looking up at Scotty, Stone relaxed a little more, before saying, "Maybe... thank you, anyway.... I'm used to it from him, though... It's not that big of a deal, to be honest...." Maybe it was time to go seperate ways... it might be for the best for Aaron and Stone.

The panther stopped outside the infirmary, not really sure if he wanted to go in or not. A few people were passing him and gave him looks, but he ignored them right now. Sighing a little, he ran a hand through his hair, before sucking it up and entering. He really hoped the ocelot wasn't busy, and asked a healer where she was because he wanted to see her. The healer looked a little confused, but didn't say much as she just pointed in the direction to where the ocelot was making beds. Nodding in thanks, the panther turned away, again thinking to himself why, but ignoring the question, "Um, Naomi...?"

EJ: *kisses Rachel's cheek* I love youuu... <33333

"Yeah..." Greyson sighed, "I just dunno what to do, and it's so tempting to take a nap here with you." He nuzzled her again, smiling, "I could always just cuddle you and love you until you get all awkward." The pangolin chuckled, kissing his girlfriend's cheek.

Scotty squeezed his friend's shoulder, "I might not be the most ensightful person, but... maybe he's so grumpy for a reason, eh?" The sheep smiled, "Don't take et personal or be too hard on him, lad. I heard he used to be weth the Sect, and that had to be hard on hem."

Nani looked up when she heard someone say her name, and her eyes brightened when she saw who it was, "Aaron!" She trotted over to him, "How are you? Wait... you aren't sick or hurt at all, are you?" She glanced him over, not noticing anything wrong, except for that sad look in his eyes, like he was trapped in a sense of despair that he just couldn't escape. Her excitement dimmed away, and she quieted down as she stood there and gazed up at him, her head tilted slightly.

(Roy: *sighs and sits up, wincing a little* Great.... zhust great....

Rachel: o///o *can't help but hug and cuddle him anyway*

Well, to be honest, that's already happening.... Blushing and being awkward all over again like Greyson predicted, she gave a bit of a sheepish smile, and brushed her hair from her face again-- it was a nevous habit of hers, "Well... you're already doing a great job, you know...."

"I know....I try not too, but it just happens..." Now, Stone was feeling bad about snapping at the panther... it squirmed in his belly, enough to make him uneasy and like he was going to throw up, "He's just frustrating, you know...?" And it's partly my fault....

Aaron was quiet for a second as Nani was happy to see him-- the lonely feeling in his chest lightened a little, but it didn't fully go away. He was about to reply to Nani's questions, but she already seemed to understand what was wrong... was it that obvious? Was it the look in his different coloured eyes? This was really one of the only times he let his guard down, his tattered ears drooping a little as he sighed, finally just speaking, "No...."

(Laura: omo! *helps Roy sit up* T-take it easy...

EJ: *purrs louder* You're the prettiest girl in aaaall the laaaand...

*giggle-snort* X3)

Greyson impishly smiled, "You're adorable when you get all shy, you know that?" He helped brush some hair from her face, as though admiring her bright red blush, "Just absolutely adorable..." Leaning closer to her, he pressed a playful kiss to the tip of her nose.

Seeing that Stone heard what he said, Scotty pulled the hybrid into a hug, "Et's alright, laddy, nobody blames you... et's hard to understand people who don't try to be understood." He rubbed his back, trying to comfort him, "There has to be someone who understands hem, right? He's probably going to them right now."

"Oh, Aaron..." Nani sighed, seeing that miserable look in his eyes as his shoulders drooped and his ears angled back. The ocelot gently wrapped her arms around him, pulling him into a hug, "It's alright, I'm here... What's the matter? You look like the whole world is up against you right now."

(Roy: *realizes what she was saying a little too late and weakly leans agiant her, feeling a little dizzy because he got up too fast* Agh...

Greyson's words only made her face turn even redder, the shade of red going darker and more prominent. She was about to say something, but whatever he was going to say was forgotten, as Greyson gently kissed her little nose. However, she managed a bit of a sheepish smile, but couldn't really think of something to say because her brain was going haywire.

The hybrid blushed when Scotty pulled him into a hug, but the hybrid ignored it right now as he hesitantly allowed himself to hug the sheep back. He was quiet for a moment, before saying, "Y-yeah..." It was a bit lame, as he didn't know what to say, but Scotty was making him feel better with his suprisingly wise words...

"I don't know...." Aaron finally ended up saying with a sigh.... his chest hurt as he wrapped his arms around Nani's smaller form. He really shouldn't have gotten mad at Stone and Scotty, but there were bigger things he worried about that just made it worse... it was like a small pebble being taken out of a dam and the entire thing collapsing because of the weight of the water and the stones. "I'm jusht...lonely..." That was one way to put it.

Chuckling, Greyson wished he had a camera so he could take a picture of her and show her what she looked like. Bebe was starting to get pushy, and crawled over to get in between Grey and Tina's heads, poking at their faces, "Chaaaaooo!" She had pure skill when it came to butting in on semi-romantic situations.

Glad he could help, even if he was referring to someone else's wisdom that had been passed down to him, Scotty affectionately squeezed Stone in a tight hug, "Don't worry, Benjy. Et's all gonna be just fine, you'll see."

Nani's ears tilted back when he said that, and she felt her heart break wide open for the disliked, miserable boy who came to find her because he had nobody else... She believed he was truly a very sweet person, beneath the scars the Sect had left, so why was nobody giving him a real chance? The ocelot was quiet for a moment, then she suddenly let go of him and moved to step back, "One moment..."

Without another word, she hurried over to the doorway, poking her head into the neighboring room to tell Ruth, "I'm taking a break, okay? Thank you!" She didn't wait for a response before she took off her little apron she wore when cleaning, draping it over the back of a chair. Fluffing her hair a little, she walked back over to Aaron, "Come with me..." She reached out to take one of his hands, taking a few steps towards the exit and looking up at him expectantly.

Tina leaned her head away from Bebe when the Chao used her face like a stepping stone. Inwardly, she was kind of thankful Bebe was there, as Tina was mostly frozen in the spot because she was so embarrassed. The otter snapped herself from her daze and pet Bebe again, smiling a little as well.

Stone's face went red again at the little squeeze Scotty gave him, and he almost froze up, but the hybrid recovered enough to not make a fool out of himself, "I know... thank you, again..." He smiled a little up at him, before letting the sheep go so he could stand back and away from Scotty, even though there was a very small part of him that didn't want to let go.

Aaron watched Nani a little curiously, confused as she let go of him, before understanding after a moment... he was silent until she came back and took off the little white apron  and grabbed his hand again. He felt a little warm underneath her gaze, but he tried to ignore it, and it wasn't really that hard... "Where are we going...?"
